Justin Muir

Justin Muir is a Senior Consulting Actuary located in the Atlanta Area. His primary focus is multiemployer health plans. Justin has over 16 years of experience as a consulting actuary.

His experience includes active and retiree plan design strategy, trend analysis, annual rate projections, healthcare analytics, contribution strategy, and reserve setting. Justin began his career at Aon, where he led a variety of large clients in telecommunications, financial services, and health systems before joining Horizon Actuarial in 2020.

Off the Clock

In his spare time, Justin likes to spend time with his family traveling, going to baseball games, and visiting beaches all over the world.

Education

Justin graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Mathematics from St. John’s University, where he was a member of the baseball team. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
