Becky Shaak

Becky Shaak is a Consulting Actuary located in the Washington, DC area.  Her primary focus is multiemployer retirement plans.  Becky has over a decade of experience as a consulting actuary.

Relevant Experience

In her career working with multiemployer pension plans, Becky has experience in plan mergers and spin-offs, the development of rehabilitation and funding improvement plans, experience studies, and withdrawal liability.

Off the Clock

In her spare time, Becky enjoys reading, watching musical theater, and supporting Nationals baseball. A former competitive swimmer, she was recently inducted into her college’s athletic hall of fame.

Education

Becky is an associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  Becky graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
